Why do you enjoy the dental profession? I love a family-oriented practice, as it is for Tranquility dental. I love seeing all ages and ensuring that everyone in your family is well taken care of in terms of oral health.
What is your favorite part about interacting with patients? I appreciate all the parents/guardians for all the effort to bring everyone in the family to get great oral health treatment and advice.
What do you do outside of the office for fun or as a hobby? After office hours, I binge-watch Netflix and enjoy traveling with great food. If you have any restaurant recommendations, please let me know!

Why do you enjoy the dental profession?: The dental field offers a blend of science, artistry, and hands-on work, allowing me to use a variety of skills. I enjoy the technical aspects of the work, engaging in lifelong learning, and gaining the satisfaction of solving complex problems. It also provides opportunities for building long-term relationships with patients and being part of a collaborative healthcare team.
What is your favorite part about interacting with patients?: My favorite part about interacting with patients is building trusting relationships and making a positive impact on their health and well-being. Listening to patients’ concerns, providing compassionate care, and seeing improvements in their health can be particularly rewarding. Additionally, I value the opportunity to educate patients about their conditions and empower them to make informed decisions about their care.
Why do you like this practice and coming to work every day?: I enjoy this work because it allows me to assist people from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of questions and tasks. Every day presents new challenges and learning opportunities, which keeps the work engaging and rewarding. My commitment stems from a desire to provide accurate, helpful, and empathetic responses to those seeking assistance, making a positive impact on their day-to-day lives.

Educational Background: I graduated from PIMA Medical Institute in May 2021 with an associate’s degree in dental hygiene. In 2011, I attended the University of the West Indies where I obtained my associate’s degree in supervisory management and computer applications (honors). In 2010, I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education (honors) at Consortium of Institutions for Teacher Education. I also graduated from the College of Agriculture Science and Education in 2002 with a diploma in elementary education. I am also a certified nursing assistant and mental health technician.

Why do you enjoy the dental profession? I have a love for a beautiful smile; I think it is the most beautiful thing you can wear.
What is your favorite part about interacting with patients? My favorite part of interacting with my patients is when they express their satisfaction at the end of their treatment.
Why do you like this practice and coming to work every day? I have a wonderful team of dedicated individuals who are all passionate about their work and have a desire to make a difference in the profession.
What do you do outside of the office for fun or as a hobby? I do every and anything that can be done outdoors. I especially love being on the beach.
Where were you born? I was born on the beautiful island of Jamaica – sun, sea, and sand.
Where were you raised? I was also raised in Portland, Jamaica, and eventually migrated to the United States in 2015.
