Cleanings & Exams

As the scan produces 3-dimensional imagining, we are able to observe your x-ray from multiple angles and positions, allowing us to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your oral health. 3D cone beam x-rays are helpful in many ways, especially used in our office for the following:

Crowns

Dental crowns are restorations used to reestablish the strength and health of a badly fractured or decayed tooth. The crown allows the original, vulnerable tooth to be saved and preserved, eliminating the need for tooth removal.

• Once a tooth has been severely damaged, it will usually require a root canal to eliminate the existence of any infection or bacteria compromising the internal tooth structure.

Night Guard (Teeth Grinding)

The condition may also contribute to continual teeth grinding.

Fortunately, all of these problems can be addressed by the use of a night guard.

• A night guard is an oral appliance made from acrylic or plastic; they are custom built to fit over your teeth and prevent contact or friction between your upper and lower arch.
